The new digital city guide will help you find the way to sights, entertainment, shopping and restaurants in Trondheim.

When you have installed the app, which is available in Norwegian and English for iPhone and Android platforms, it can generate routes and the distance to the places you would like to visit. If you are a tourist, you can plan your visit to Trondheim using your phone app.

The app also has built-in augmented reality. This means that you can combine pictures taken by the camera in your mobile phone with what the app tells you about the sightseeing destinations you take pictures of.

As a user you will be invited to contribute content and comments relating to the app, which has been developed for residents as well as tourists.

The Trondheim app has been developed by Trondheim local authority in cooperation with Visit Trondheim AS.
