Art in Presthus farm Kindergarten

Artists: Barbro Maria Tiller: ‘Jakke til et tre’; Anne Tove Huse: ‘Stjerner og å ønske seg en hest’ 2006/2007. Art consultant: Kari Elise Mobeck.

Barbro Maria Tiller has used second-hand textiles to dress up an ash tree in the tree-lined avenue of Presthus farm Kindergarten. The jacket is made out of old cardigans and sweaters, and is impregnated to protect the wool. Naturally, the huge tree needed a large jacket, more than 3 m tall and a large girth, measuring 2.80 m in circumference. Indoors, Anne Tove Huse’s round pictures represent various animals, birds, flowers, and trees.
