Art - The Woman by the Water Pump

Artist: Tone Thiis Schjetne (1996).

This sculpture originally stood in the entrance to the Trondheim District Court building. In the autumn of 1996, it was moved to its present location. The sculpture presents a woman collecting water from a pump. Female figures at work and in concentration are key elements in the motifs used by Thiis Schjetne.
