Art - Wooden Relief

Artist: Anders Åberg (1997).

On the wall of the old tramcar stall, now a tramway museum, we find a colourful wooden relief. It was a gift from the artist in return for receiving two old tramcars from the Tramway Museum in Trondheim. In the densely forested highland in Central Sweden called Ångermanland, Åberg has established a museum that he calls Mannaminne (Within Living Memory). He has placed a number of houses there, mainly from Sweden, but also from other regions of Europe. The Norwegian house originally stood in Midtre Gauldal.
