As Nidaros Cathedral's closest neighbour, you will find the Trondheim Art Museum, which shows changing exhibitions of contemporary art, as well as historical works from the museum's impressive art collection. This is the museum's main department, and is located in Bispegata. Well-known and big names from Norwegian art history are in the group exhibition on the first floor, while the museum's second floor shows current and contemporary names from Norwegian and international art. Here you will find something for the whole family. Trondheim Art Museum is a popular arena for children and adults throughout the year. Extensive workshops that provide creative inspiration and a tempting museum shop. On the same museum ticket, you can visit the museum's other exhibition venue, Gråmølna, on Solsiden. Here you find works from the Art Gift Håkon Bleken on the second floor, and changing exhibitions of contemporary art on the first floor. The walk along Bakklandet, between the two viewpoints is an experience in itself.
